The last of us It is undoubtedly one of the most important franchises of recent years. Since the launch of the first title, the series has become a favorite for much of the gaming community, and year after year it has improved its proposition. Now TLOU Part I will bring a new version of the game that started the saga.
The new installment, which will be released on September 5, has been rebuilt from the ground up capitalizing on the core features of the PlayStation 5 and DualSense controller. While the story stays true to its original version, they planned for it to be a revamped experience that will include “modernized gameplay mechanics, improved controls, and additional accessibility options.”
To report on the work that has been done in The Last of Us Part I, from Naughty Dog, they have published a video that compares the construction that has been done on the stages of this version compared to previous installments and clearly shows the jump visual that goes to give the franchise.
“Naughty Dog felt it was time to bring the definitive version of The Last of Us Part I with PS5 hardware and technology and wanted to welcome new players by adding significantly expanded accessibility features, game mechanics upgrades and fidelity consistent with The Last of Us Part II.These features also make The Last of Us Part I’s acclaimed story richer and more tangible.
The Last of Us is a horror and action-adventure video game developed by American company Naughty Dog and released by Sony Computer Entertainment for the PlayStation 3 console in 2013. The plot depicts the experiences of Joel and Ellie, a couple of survivors of a pandemic in the United States which causes the mutation of human beings into cannibalistic creatures.
Its development began in 2009, shortly after the release of the previous Naughty Dog game, Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, and fell to Bruce Straley and Neil Druckmann. One of the central aspects of the game’s narrative is given by the link between its protagonists, played by actors Troy Baker and Ashley Johnson.Influences that allowed certain concepts of The Last of Us to be established include the documentary Planet Earth (2006), the books The Road (2006), The World Without Us (2007) and City of Thieves (2008), as well as the films No Country for Old Men (2007) and Gravity (2013). Gustavo Santaolalla, Andrew Buresh, Anthony Caruso and Jonathan Mayer were in charge of composing the soundtrack.
The Last of Us has a moment of high attention. Just a few days ago HBO unveiled the first look at the series which will adapt the game’s story to the small screen and show a new take on a tale that has managed to position itself as one of the most interesting and moving in recent years.
