SD Huesca closes summer friendlies with victory against Andorra

The SD Huesca closed the summer friendly round with a victory against FC Andorra of the same category at IES Pirámide (3-1), the second in six games. It is not until the official premiere and, as a whole, the Barça team convinces that it will be at the beginning of August. It is well designed by Cuco Ziganda. In the absence of upcoming signings, since neither Juan Villar nor Óscar Sielva were wearing shorts, and the role that individualities play, the Navarrese imposes the stamp of a compact team, where each piece must be attached to a choral gear.

The friendly match presented as the main stimulus the presence of the eleven as close as possible to the one who will make his debut on Friday August 12 against Levante in the city of Valencia. And, barring a few tweaks, this will be the one Cuco Ziganda will put into the fray. The block that rested in the Tarragona match with the addition of two local players, Hugo Anglada in the center of the back, and a Tomeo who repeated in place of the Japanese Kento Hashimoto. Maybe it was premature to see him at first. He made his debut in the second half and is more than likely to feature in the first starting line-up. Anglada, who played the full 90 minutes with Pulido, has ballots to appear in the clash with the Granotas.

Tomeo, a smart footballer with personality, enjoyed the first from the first minute when he kicked the ball over the Andorran goal. The blaugranas, with clear ideas, produced a classic action after five minutes: cross from Mateu on the left and header from Escriche at the near post. Third summer goal for Burriana, who, like the last pre-season and in the absence of Juan Villar and nine others, has become the reference scorer and the mood thermometer of a block that still raises questions at this regard. Kanté received a greedy send off from Soko at 15 minutes which he was unable to take advantage of.

The Cameroonian, very active, digs a gap with his hand and was the subject of a possible penalty. The defense continues to ask questions. Two centre-backs are yet to arrive and goals have been conceded in all friendlies except Calahorra’s. too. David Martín took advantage of a dismissal from Andrés due to lack of response from Ratiu and Anglada to equalize after 20 minutes in Andorra’s first serious finish. The draw improved Eder Sarabia’s men and confused SD Huesca, who came back in the 38th minute with a chance for a still struggling Kanté.

Hashimoto and Juan Carlos replaced Tomeo and Kanté after the break. The Japanese debuted in the engine room. Straight and bold, he has a week to get up to speed and take on Ziganda’s style book at least in a basic way. Both teams moved a few pieces and Iván Gil woke the azulgranas from their slumber with a shot that forced Andrés to raise his arm. The manager shook the shaker with Joaquín, who combined with Juan Carlos in the 65th to bring Huesca closer. Timor fired a free kick which Pulido nearly took advantage of on the rebound and in the ensuing action Florian Miguel put Huesca ahead again with his header. Huesca’s new spirit was reflected in a comfortable end to the game which Joaquín concluded with his third goal of the summer, a symbolic top scorer tied with a giant Escriche who had previously fired at the post.
