Colchoneros’ second goal was illegal, but there was no VAR in the game and it went up on the scoreboard

The match, in which there was no VAR, was not without controversy. Saúl’s goal, second in the mattress count, was with his arm after a shot by Joao Félix, but the referees ruled it valid. Players and yellow supporters strongly protested against the clear error of the referees.

Seconds into the second half, Wass fired Gil’s goal with a long shot. Atleti’s fourth goal came with a Griezmann header. Álvaro Giménez scored the goal in the final minutes.
