Cepeda publishes “The old shirt”, a song in defense of sexual freedom and diversity

Cepeda released this Wednesday “The Old Shirt”, a surprise song for his fans whose lyrics are in defense of sexual freedom and diversity. The Galician singer wanted to support the homosexual community and all those who want to love without fear of being rejected or marginalized because of their feelings. “This song is a hymn to freedom, freedom of expression, freedom of love and freedom of gender, human rights to exist that are often truncated by the most classist thought and care of people still living in the last century,” the singer posted on Twitter coinciding with the single’s release.

In the song there are lyrics like “Two men saw it pass / They went hand in hand, it can’t be tolerated / It’s not normal, it’s not traditional / Wearing an old shirt isn’t natural” or “Life takes many turns, it shouldn’t matter / That boys want Barbies and girls want Action Man.” With a waltz-like start that turns into a pop-rock song, Cepeda signs a message of commitment in favor of sexual diversity and clear and clear support for the LGTBIQ+ collective, much applauded on social networks.

“I’m proud to follow a guy who gets involved in politics, who not only sings about love, which is good too, but who sings about the important things that are happening and gives voice to what many of think of us.
