For their new task in the service of the Law, the people of Ford Pro as usual has transformed the exterior appearance of the models which now sport a Comes in black and white with the striking detail of the “E” of the word Police painted in blue, while the front features a gigantic bumper resistant to the toughest attacks. Of course, all of this is complemented by strobe LED lights.

The interior, for its part, has a very resistant police quality coating, while the rear seats have a special one to facilitate cleaning. In terms of infotainment, it has 12-inch digital instrumentation and a 12-inch touchscreen with the SYNC4 system. In addition, near these two screens is an upper shelf intended to house some of the police equipment. Along with all of this, there’s a full arsenal of driver assistance systems brought together in the Ford Co-Pilot 360.
Another very remarkable aspect of this model is that offers the same versatility as any other Lightning, with two cargo areas, both the rear bed and the huge and practical front coverwith multiple plugs and charging sockets. Thus, according to Ford, this model is designed to meet all possible needs of a police patrol, beyond situations of persecution.

Available with different mechanical options
It will also be offered with different mechanical options, both with the the standard range version, with 458 hp and a towing capacity of 3.1 tons, as well as the extended range version with 588 hp, 1,051 Nm that can tow up to 3.5 tons.
