The court “rejected the provisional measures, the appeal on the merits must still be dealt with”
The Spanish Football League seized this Friday before the administrative court of Paris the cancellation of Paris Saint-Germain accounts, that it has rejected the interim measures requested although it is maintaining the in-depth study of the request.
The complaint refers to the accounts presented by the PSG to the French Professional Football League, which allowed the new contract of Kylian Mbappé, and the validation of this accounting balance by the LFP and its National Directorate of Control and Management (DNGC).
The court “rejected the precautionary measures, the appeal on the merits still has to be dealt with,” French lawyer for the Spanish League, Juan Branco, told EFE.
He added that, in the opinion of the Spanish League, PSG’s accounts “have no accounting basis and are not well analyzed according to UEFA’s criteria on financial ‘fair play'”. “This allows PSG to break these rules with the complicity of the LFP and the DNGC”touched the lawyer.
Branco explained that the rejection of the provisional measures was due to the fact that, in the opinion of the court, the urgency had not been sufficiently justified and advanced that they are “weigh” the possibility of submitting a new application in more detail to justify your request.
