Capcom released a new trailer for Resident Evil Village Gold Edition and the highly anticipated Winters Expansion DLC for the award-winning eighth main installment of the survival horror saga.
The latest screenshots offer an in-depth look at ‘The Mercenaries’ Extra Orders,’ which introduces new playable characters, more stages, and additional enhancements to the beloved fast-action mode.

A new set of heroes and villains joins Ethan Winters, the protagonist of Resident Evil Village, as playable characters in “The Mercenaries’ Additional Orders”. Lady Dimitrescu hovers over enemies in this action-packed mode, in which he asserts his six-foot height against any lycanthrope or foe unlucky enough to cross his path. In battle, Dimitrescu creates excitement by slicing opponents to pieces with his razor-sharp claws. This allows her to perform special actions such as defeating enemies or summoning her daughters.

When this counter is active, Chris moves and reloads at lightning speed. Chris can also call in support from the Hound Wolf squad by using his target locator to pinpoint enemy positions and call in missile strikes.
Along with new playable characters, “The Mercenary’s Additional Orders” introduces two new scenarios, the Bloody Village and Bloody River, as well as additional improvements to the experience.
