This was announced during the presentation this Tuesday, July 19 of the list The 50 best restaurants in the world at a gala held in London
Danish Geranium rose to number 1 on a list that highlights DiverXO’s meteoric rise from number 20 to number 4.
Also take advantage of the climb positions, from fifth to third place. In addition, it is worth noting the return to this list of Quique Dacosta, who occupies number 50 while in 2021 he was in position 74. Asador Etxebarri leaves the ‘top 5’, which goes from 3 to 6. Mugaritz, one of the most veterans in the standings, he goes from 14 to 21, while Elkano remains in the same twenty-sixth position.
But,how much does it cost to eat in the six best Spanish restaurants? We review the prices that each of them has.
As explained on its website, Enjoy offers a gastronomic proposal that revolves around the tasting menu, with avant-garde and Mediterranean cuisine.
There are two types of menus, Classic and Festival, both priced at 235 euros per person, to which you would have to add 110 euros to accompany them with a food and wine pairing (145 euros if you choose the dealcoholized food and wine pairing option with a reduced percentage of alcohol).
The restaurant also offers a unique experience: the Live Table located in the restaurant’s R&D kitchen, with prices from 350 to 1,000 euros depending on the number of people (excluding drinks).
“A journey through hedonistic, gourmet and creative cuisine, where anything is possible”. This is how Diverxo summarizes its proposal on its website.
We can appreciate his menu, which he called “The cuisine of the flying pigs”, for 365 euros. This price does not include drinks, so you have to add 150 euros if you choose ‘Wine selection’ or 300 if you opt for ‘High-flying pairing’.
“Innovative dishes created daily according to the market and cooked with different woods on a farm”, is one of the reviews published on Asador Etxebarri.
As you can see on their website, the menu costs 245 euros and accept reservations for a minimum of two people and a maximum of six.
This restaurant specializes in fish and shellfish cooked on the grill, respecting traditional Basque cuisine.
It has no map and maintains the idea of a traditional map. He does not publish the prices on his website but in his review in the Michelin Guide we see that we can eat for a price that fluctuates between 130 and 170 euros.
“In a series of some 23 to 25 proposals, ingredients, flavors, textures, concepts, stories are distributed as well as different creative resources. Instead of starters, main courses and desserts, you will find a menu where flavors, techniques, formats and stories intertwine throughout an experience that opens the mind and not just the mouth. is how Mugaritz sums up its gastronomic offer.
It has a menu for 242 euros (excluding drinks).
“Cuisine has no borders but it has roots and we set the wings so that the sum of it offers unique sensory experiences, gastronomically imaginative, evolutionarily avant-garde and innovative”, is the philosophy that inspires Quique. Dacosta as can be read on its website.
Their menu is priced at 250 euroto which we can add the option ‘Harmony of wines’ for 150 euros more.
