Ioniq 6 offers an estimated electric range of more than 610 km, according to the WLTP standard, as well as ultra-fast 400V/800V multi-charging capability thanks to Hyundai Motor Group’s Global Electric Modular Platform (E-GMP) .
It also features Hyundai’s most aerodynamic styling to date and a host of features that enhance the e-mobility experience, including two-tone ambient lighting, speed-synchronized lighting system, auto-tuning electrical performance and active electrical sound design (e-ASD).
“The Ioniq 6 is the next ambitious step in Hyundai Motor’s strategy to accelerate its transition to electrification and its position as the global leader in electric vehicles,” said Jaehoon Chang, President and CEO of Hyundai Motor. Company. “The Ioniq 6 Electrified Streamliner will provide a unique and distinctive experience for drivers and passengers.”
impressive length
The electrified profile takes advantage of the E-GMP platform to deliver an extremely long 2,950mm wheelbase, riding on a choice of 18-inch or 20-inch wheels. With an impressive overall length of 4855mm, width of 1880mm and height of 1495mm, these dimensions give Ioniq 6 a distinctive and sleek look to stand out amidst a sea of electric vehicles with little differences between them. It is available with various mechanical and battery options to meet the needs of each customer. The long-lasting 77.4 kWh battery can be mated to two configurations: rear wheel drive (RWD) or all wheel drive (AWD). The twin-engine all-wheel drive configuration develops a combined output of 239 kW and 605 Nm of torque. This variant can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.1 seconds.
Consumption
Ioniq 6 shows impressive power consumption data. In the case of the standard 53 kWh battery with 18-inch tires and rear-wheel drive, consumption is estimated at less than 14 kWh/100 km, according to the WLTP standard. This makes the Ioniq 6 one of the most energy efficient vehicles on the market.
Ioniq 6’s E-GMP architecture can support both 400V and 800V charging infrastructure, with 800V as standard (it can support 400V charging without the need for additional components or adapters). With a 350 kW charger, Ioniq 6 can be charged from 10% to 80% in just 18 minutes.
Ioniq 6, like Ioniq 5, offers the innovative two-way charging (V2L) function, allowing customers to power any electrical device from the vehicle. This is ideal for continuing to use these devices during a power outage, camping, or outdoor projects.
