New Barca Atlètic coach was excited about his new coaching project
“I want to take advantage of this great opportunity. I know the club very well and hope to do a good job,” he told club media.
Rafa Márquez hopes to have a good season in the subsidiary. He knows it’s a big challenge, in a club that never gives up, but it’s also clear that he faces this stage with great enthusiasm. He knows Barça, where he was a player for seven years, and the demand will be maximum.
“I am very happy. I want to take advantage of this great opportunity. I know the club very well and I hope to do a good job. It was seven wonderful years in my football career, where I achieved great things. Now with the responsibility of being the coach of Barça Atlètic. I am happy but also nervous. I hope I can share the experience with the rest of the boys,” he told club media.
Regarding the goals, the Mexican coach assured that he hopes “To be able to develop the boys well, give them the tools so they can be in the first team in the not too distant future.. You have to try to follow the philosophy that the club has in the game and obviously try to have good results.”
There will be a demand, but Márquez is also under an obligation for his people to benefit: “The demand is going to be maximum because they are also part of the values of the club.. Even so, you also have to try to enjoy and play that football that makes us love the sport.”
